Where does it store
Section titled “Where does it store”The gift message is saved as a custom attribute on the order — visible under “Additional details” in Shopify admin, not in the order note. If the Gift tag is turned on in Settings, the order is also tagged “gift”.
How to print the gift message
Section titled “How to print the gift message”There’s no separate gift receipt — the message shows on the order in Shopify admin under Additional details, and can be added to a packing slip (see below).
How to add a gift message to the invoice
